100% pure Shantung silk, stretched around a hard backing of opaque plastic, with hand-rolled edges.

Shantung silk is woven from two distinct threads. It is this unique feature that creates this silk’s signature iridescence. From one angle this shade will appear as freshly green as the Daffodil stem, and yet change your angle and it will reveal itself to be as yellow as the petals. Photos simply cannot do it justice.

The slubs, which occur where the threads of silk are twisted together, are a natural feature of Shantung silk, acting as a wonderful reminder of the weaving process.

This shade fits both an E27 and E14 bulb holder (with reducer ring included).
